Embrace the Service

Dear Fellow Lions, Leos, and Friends of Lionism,

It is a great honour and privilege to serve as the District Governor of Lions Clubs International, District 322C4 for the Lionistic Year 2025–26.

I extend my heartfelt greetings and sincere appreciation to all the members of our district for your tireless commitment, unity, and dedication to the cause of humanity.

Formation and Growth of Our District

Our district, Lions District 322C4, was formed through the reorganization of the erstwhile District 322C2 with the vision of bringing leadership and administration closer to the grassroots level. This reorganization was not just structural — it was a step toward creating a stronger, more focused, and service-oriented district capable of reaching more people in need. Since its formation, District 322C4 has grown steadily, fueled by the passion and teamwork of our members. Today, it stands as a symbol of collective strength, fellowship, and compassionate service.

Serving Through Nine Global Causes

This year, our district has aligned its focus with the nine Global Causes of Lions Clubs International — Vision, Hunger, Environment, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, Humanitarian Relief, Youth Empowerment, Disaster Relief, and Pediatric Cancer Care. Through these causes, our clubs are extending service to every section of society — reaching out to those in need, uplifting the underprivileged, and making a meaningful impact in our communities.

A Year of Remarkable Growth

I am delighted to share that our district has achieved tremendous membership growth — rising from 1,408 to 1,707 members within this Lionistic year. This growth is a reflection of the wholehearted support, enthusiasm, and unity of our Lions family, who continue to believe in the power of service and fellowship.

Embracing the Spirit of Service

Our slogan for this year, "Embrace the Service," embodies the very essence of Lionism. It is not only a call to action but also a reflection of our collective commitment to serve from the heart. By embracing service in every form — big or small — we strengthen our bond with humanity and reaffirm our purpose as Lions. Together, we are extending our service to the maximum level possible, ensuring that our presence is felt wherever there is need, compassion, and hope.

Let us continue to move forward with the same zeal, unity, and sense of purpose. Let us Embrace the Service and make District 322C4 a shining example of dedication, leadership, and humanitarian excellence.

With warm regards and Lionistic greetings,
Lion Dr. Hemant Kumar Khuntia, PMJF
